does it have to be torqued???and if so how much

its how you drain the transmission dont know torque specs though

 

I'm not a Honda guy that much yet. However, I'm guessing that's a sealing bolt for the transmission - those are pretty common on most JPN vehicles.... but I can't say for sure. Torque on those varies depending on the diameter, but you DON'T want to cross-thread one of those. (Trust me on this one.)

I can dig a bit further if you'd like, but it would help if I knew a bit more about the picture - is this driver's side or passengers? MT or AT? Do you happen to know the diameter of the "bolt"?

 

behind it is where the clip holds the tranny together. you can just put hondabond around the bolt and tighten it downjust snug and 1/4 turn would be good.
