Default F22B2 worth it?

ive been puttin money aside to either A- make my car look cooler. or B- Put some simple performance parts on i.e. CAI, headers, cat back etc.

My question is though with a SOHC non vtec engine am i simply gonna just be wasting money trying to make this engine a lil more fun to drive?

The sky is the limit, oh and budget I guess...lol

You need to decide what it is that you want to end up with. It's better to save money and know what your going to aim for as an end product. Than it is to save a bit put it into the B2 then decide you want an H swap.

I have saved all my money and bought parts to build up an all motor B2. As of now I still haven't spent 2k. By the time I get my new rods and pistons I'll be over $2K. But I will have a fresh new F22B2. With high comp pistons and light weight rods. vs a $2K used H22 that will need almost 800 in maintenance to just to keep it running. My B2 is not going to beat a fully built H22 but it is goign to be what I want and it will be at the power level that I want.

Like previously stated i dont think its a waste of money, and the parts your talkin bout getting are available and arnt tall that much money, an efficient way to do a budget build is to do a lot of DIY mods like i do. good luck and keep us posted.
