Is there a guide anywhere on how to remove the tape deck located below the centre console and in front of the cup holders?

My understanding is that there is also a din pocket that can be placed there, is this compatible? Thanks.

My only advice would be to find someone with a Helms manual. It should include all the info you need. Unfortunately I don't have one for a 98.

 

all you have to do is remove the screws that hold in the centre console. by the e-brake and then the ones around the shifter then the ones under the climate control. here should be two goldish colored screws holding the deck in. i did the reverse, i put my deck there.....
