ok i posted this on the ciciv forum but i didnt get to much help on it so here i go asking again hopefully you guys are more helpful.. ok about 5 months ago some kid crashed into my 97 ek i had a 96 jdm itr swap.. the block is still good and the head got a a little damaged broken cam gears and timing belt.. ok so i was doing some reaserch about rebuilding the whole engine and i came across Benson Sleeves , i also read that they cn rebuild heads.. i Also know a little bit about Golden Eagle Sleeves.. does anyone have any info on this???
Golden eagle all the way! Some sleeveing companies use cheap econo sleeves, but GE uses ductile iron units that are braced and withstand sever vibration and boost. I love them, and even became a dealer due to my success.

GE claims 70psi or 1200hp according to the spec sheet they give you with the block.

haha, thats cute guys.
to the OP. Bisi is correct on materials playing a big role in sleeves. Both GE and Darton use a Ductile Sleeve. They are both top quality.
I have dealt with Jim many times and I trust him and few others with motor work. If I were on the east coast, he'd be my go to guy for everything, sleeving included.
I will also say that GE puts out a fine product. I have a GE block I picked up about 2-3 years ago and have been running for a while. Its 86mm and its about to get sent back to GE to have it resleeved down to 84. Thats one of the perks with going with GE, they'll resleeve blocks (with their sleeves) for nearly half the price of sleeving a new block.
Darton (Because they make good sleeves) =
Golden Eagle (Because they make and install good sleeves) =
