Default clutch chatter, shifting problem

A couple of weeks ago my clutch pedal didnt feel as tight when depressed all of a sudden then it was fine again. Its still doing that off and on but now I hear come chattering from the transmission and it does not want to go into any gear when it gets hot after driving in the freeway until ive slowed down for a bit or stopped and the clutch kinda makes the car pull early before it engages also. Possible the release bearing going bad? and ideas???? any help is appreciated

I just took if for a drive to see if I could figure it out a little furthur, when I push down on the clutch pedal it squeals and when its still in gear and I have the clutch pedal pressed when I hit the gas it feels like its pulling a little like the clutch isnt releasing, its still intermittent

yeah I was just out adjusting the clutch cable in and out and no change, seemed to make it worse no matter which way I went with it. I took it way out way in, when I pushe the clutch way in it didnt want to go into gear it all so wierd, if I pressed up and down on the clutch in different positions it will go into gear...

well im thinking one of 3 things
bad throw out bearing, bad clutch disk, or bad pressure plate. your gonna have to take the tranny out to really see.

So I got it all apart and one of the springs in the clutch disk was sticking out and the piece of metal that holds it in was stuck in between the clutch disk and the pressure plate so im sure that was the grinding noise I was hearing, pilot bearing and throwout bearing looked good, clutchdisk and pressure plate were a little tore up from that piece or metal and spring tore up my flywheel bolts a bit. Gonna put it all back together with a new clutch kit tomorrow and hopefully that was the issue and it wasnt just a coincidence. My tranny was never whining before this so I cant see how it would be but I dont exactly have the best luck. If it was not for bad luck I would have none at all.

all back together finally and no more chattering from the clutch, my ball lower ball joints are toast so I couldnt get the nuts on they just spin so before I can give it a test drive im gonna have to change the lower ball joints on both sides, after pulling the tranny in my apartment complex parking spot that should be a breeze. I testes the clutch with the car on jackstands and the tires on, clutch went in and out of gears fine and no noise so I think the problem is solved.
