car won't start after ls/v swap.

car won't start after ls/v swap.
ok here is what happened. car started when we put the LS motor in car. it was obd-1 so we had the obd-1 jumper harness and ecu and obd-1 distributor. now we put a vtec head on and a obd-2 distributor and the obd-1 ecu. car starts with the obd-0 pr4 ecu but will not start with the obd-1 ecu. what could be the problem? do i need a obd-1 vtec distributor? TIA
