H22a Crankshaft Turning Torque
I dont believe there is an actual "spec" for turning torque. This would all be affected by bearing clearances,piston to wall clearances, assembly lube, ring tension, (you get the idea),etc.
The idea behind this (to me) is to check for any inconsistencies that could potentially damage the engine and cause premature failure...
So the best time to measure this is during engine assembly as your torquing down mains,installing pistons, rods,etc...
You want each component youre checking to be similar to the others both in "break away" torque and constant "turning" torque.
Youll need a good digital torque wrench to be accurate...
And no, you cant have the timing belt on.
