95 Accord LX speakers
^ All EX got the 6x9

Damn it, can't confirm this 100% crutchfield won't let me filter
Basically open the trunk and if they're oval they're 6x9, if they're a circle you have 6x5

how do I mount the 6x9s in the rear ? There is a bracket there so i can fit the 6.5s and it looks like without it 6x9s would be a close fit.

6x9's do get pretty distorted when it gets turned up though, more work than what its worth

Ihave a 1993 accord and I had 4in in the front in factory enclosures. It was premium sound i think? There should be 6.5in holes in the front. The back could be 6.5in or 6x9's.
ok in my 95 lx i have 6.5s all around.
Also the factory speakers use a harness that plugs into the speaker. The clip on that will not plug into my eclipse speakers. Is my only option to cut and splice ? Or does someone make a plug and play harness ? I mean its not a huge deal to cut and splice i would rather not cut a factory harness if i can avoid it.

To my knowledge there isn't a plug and play harness, you can either
1) break apart OEM speakers to mod the adapters
2) cut off the OEM from car and either solder the correct adapter or just insert the bare wires

You dont have to cut the connector off. You can strip some of the insulation and tap into the wire without cutting it. If you ever want to sell the car with the factory speakers, the plugs will still be there.
And, its proven the round speakers sound/perform better then oval speakers.
This, however is with the exception of subwoofers, which are more for movement of air then high frequency reproduction.
