Default Interior headliner and pillar question.

I've got a 01 cdm cw r and was recently thinking about some mods i can do to the interior and was thinking about taking my headliner, the visors, and the a pillar and rear quater pillar trims out and re-wrapping them in black suede to match the black interior and to make the suede match the suede material i have on my seats.
what do you guys think? is this considered rice??? personally i am having a dilemma because i am trying to keep the car as oem as possible in terms of interior mods without doing all kinds of crazy **** like gauges, racing seats etc etc...but i am bored of the interior right now too. what do you guys think

I think it is rice but its your caR and your vision.

Have you thought about just changing your seats or steering wheel out to see if that helps you any?

i already got a jdm momo air bag wheel. and i have both the jdm recaro and the cdm red seats....i dont plan on changing the seats to any other kind because i like the red in there plus i find they are the most comfortable seats to be in for street.

My sister had me do her panels, headliner, etc. in black. I don't like it. I wouldn't mod the interior, there really isnt much to do. Keep it oem inside.

I say leave it alone.....

the ITR is meant to be a no frills drivers car..... hence the reason 97-98 came w/o AC or a radio, etc..... they were dealer installed options.....

the 00-01 can be considered the watered down/domesticted versions of the ITR b/c they already came w/ ac,radio, and even a nifty rear wiper....

I agree that the interior is bland, but the driving experience by far makes up for it......

if your going to make fun of me by searching the posts i have made to find out what I am about atleast learn to spell words properly. I have yet to see someone have a benen toe hook. thanks.

btw let me guess aluminum lca's and tow hooks are rice but wanting to be jdm and by that I mean trying to replicate a look of a car from a different market isnt right?

Check out that thread for some ideas. I've been thinking about doing it later down the line too. Not sure if I want a black or red suede or something patterened.
