330- 4.722
1/8- 7.319
MPH- 94.66
1000- 9.580

This time was ran roughly about a month ago. A different setup is being worked on right now. We plan to return to the track with about 40+more whp and about 30+more wtq. Hopefully we can get it done before the track closes for the season.

LOL, yeah...that thing looks rediculous. It's been revised to a shorter version that gave us the same peak power. But this is a good one to link to your thread about "dyno numbers dont matter".

Nice Setup! I would suggest working on the dip in the lower rpm range if possible

It's been all worked out. It was a 5 minute fix on the dyno- changed vtec point and smoothened vtc movement in that area. Its all butter now and gets awesome gas mileage. We were only focusing on 6krpm+ on this dyno session since we were only going to dragrace it and we werent driving the car to the track.

I think the camero on the back country road race was more fun to watch.

running the type r transmission? Run into any of the k series transmission gremlins yet? Solid those r crew cams must be pretty mild if your on the stock valvetrain

I'm guessing that the Rcrew cams arent all too aggressive considering the revs/oem valvetrain it is survived by. My engine only makes about 7-8 whp more than any other K20A running an identical setup w/ stock cams. And yes, the transmission has problems have been around. I've replaced 2nd gear once already and its almost time for another change out. The transmission is a stock ITR.

I wasn't aware that stock k20's tranny's can't take too much abuse. I think someone else mentioned this before also, but their car was turboed.

For the all motor(drag race) applications it seems that 2nd gear is the only weak point. The setups with big power will see anywhere from 10-15 passes on 2nd gear before having to replace it.

Oh hell I didn't know they were that bad. I guess 3rd gear grind is a thing of past and 2nd gear take over that area. I guess theirs know way to fix this problem yet or nobody has done any investigating yet.
