A very general question like this can have quite a few different answers. Do some research into what has been done already and see what direction you would like to go. Then come back and ask any more specific questions you may have. The Sleeper F is not a new topic.

Read all of the information contained within this link. Click Here! It is a lot of information, it may take a day or two to get through it all but it's well worth it.

Let's do some research on our own and not have everything forcefed for you.

1) Maybe look at the "ALL MOTOR" section of the forum, god forbid we do that
2) Maybe do some research and find applicable parts with the all amazing Google

etc

years ago some guy built an f22a with something like 13:1 compression and it barely dyno'd stock h22 numbers. fortunately it was built to run nitrous, high compression + nitrous go hand in hand.

so let see spend 5k on f22 all motor and make h22 #'s. no thanks.

unless you got all out crazy like bisi something like 16:1 or higher CR + carbs and a uber aggressive cam.

you do make a good point, i would just go for the h22. be if you like building engines, building a f22b1 would be fun. plus parts for it would be cheaper then for the h22.

boost it, paint the intercooler, no potato launcher exhaust, etc... more power than h22 swap and cost less generally. it will be sleeper, trust me they never see it coming.

that is if you have a good base to start with, aka motor compression/ leakdown tests, maintance is up to date, etc.

in that case i think all motor build or h22 swap would be best. turbos be really hard to do if all you hav is the internet to go by.

What is your final goal and budget? Besides it being a sleeper what are your long term/short term goals? That is what you should look at. Is this something that you want to do quickly and just do it for one season? Or is is something you are looking to upgrade over a period of a few years? All of the things you mentioned relate to putting a head on a block. Find the best head for what you want to achieve in the end.

The block and head are the foundation for a build. Build an engine specific to what you want to attain in the end! If you want to keep it true to the SOHC F series. The F22a6 head would be a nice place to start for an All Motor Head.

Bottle feed that b@tch! you would be ripping fools up with a 50 shot, but if you build it right you can feed it alot more! Nothing like sayn "just a little 50 shot" when your really spraying a 100+ shot!

gude / bullfrog f22 head package is NOT worth it. dont do it!

a member that went by the user name "kentucky accord" got it and said it was a complete was of money. the only thing worth a damn was the cam regrind.

I would go ahead and forget about Gude. Please do some RESEARCH and you will find out why from other peoples' experiences.

An all-motor F22 is not a good idea for a beginner. To make any decent power you need somewhat advanced knowledge of how engines work and how to tune them properly. You will need high compression, larger displacement, huge airflow paths, better fuel supply & management, etc etc etc. RESEARCH!

I'd say swap in an h22 or swap the h22 head on the fseries block... it's called a g series... do sum research on those... I think you'd be happy with an h series motor... I have one in my 98 accord and it's alot of fun no one see it comming... my car's really quite and no one expects it out of me... it also helps being the only accord with an h22... lol but if you're from a small town then ppl will probably not see you coming either... good luck
