Honda CRX radius rod length HELP
I broke a radius rod on my CRX. I pulled off the broken parts of the radius rod and went to the junk yard and got a new one. I made sure it was the same length. When I tried to put it on, it seemed to be too long. When I sat them next to each other i realized that someone had ground down the end of the original one so that the washer would slide down about an extra inch. So basically the one that broke was the wrong radius rod for the car but had been modified to fit. Does anyone know where I can find a radius rod of the right length. Thanks a lot.
Basically I have the same question.
My caster is all messed up. Both front tires look like they are sitting too far back and not centered in the wheel wells. Are there different radius rod lengths between CRXs and other Civics?

Thanks though.
i wonder if the original one was ground down to band aid, or hack job repair rather, a bent lower control arm, probably due to running into a curb.
id put the known good one in. if it doesnt fit, get a known good lower control arm. the current one is probably bent.
then get an alignment to see where youre at and if anything else needs to be replaced like the subframe or crossmember.

Well I have the same problem as well. Everyone tries to tell me that the crossmember must be bent. It's not. I tried the link to the majestic honda page but they don't seem to have a part number for a 1991 CRX DX, so I can't compare it to anything. I would like to know an actual answer to this question as it seems there have been a few people to have this problem. I believe that if I ground down my radius arm that I could get the wheel into the correct position. I don't want to to this for obvious reasons. No one knows if there is a difference between CRX's and other civics? My LCA has already been replaced so that isn't the problem. Everything else measures out fine. My radius arm has paint markings like it's from a junkyard, and I bought the car this way so there is a chance the PO put in the wrong part. No part number on the rod itself. Any ideas?
