BLAHHH WHY MEEE!!
Ok so here's my problem. I have a 99 ek.. For some reason my car keeps leaking coolent.. But I dunno where. There's coolent everywere when I go check. I don't know where its coming from.. I change my raditor like 3x.. And still I have the same problem.. And white smoke comes from under my hood that's coolent burning I guess.. Buy why?? any clue?
And my stock radio has this code I have to put in. But I dunno the code...and I have a chance to by this b16 I think its a 95 cuz I don't think it has a hydro tranny.. Should I just say bump it and buy the motor or stay with my single cam and boost that?

check where it is leaking from
not that hard, just use your brain.
if you're smoking from under the hood, that means your leak is guess where? Under the hood.</TD></TR></TABLE>
my car has been leaking coolant for about a month now, and i can't find the leak. it's a little harder than you make it sound, its not like your gonna turn your car on and just start poking your fingers everywhere, good way to get burnt/hurt that **** gets hot. cut OP a little slack
.
OP: just be patient and take your time, you'll find it. just stop wasting money on radiators untill you know where its coming from.

Clean the engine bay before you check for leaks again. It's most likely a cracked hose or loose fitting.
Also try to see where the coolant drips first on a dry concrete surface, that may help narrow down the source. The front of the motor is most likely a hose, the back / passenger's side would be an intake manifold line/water duct or sensor leak, and the driver's side of the motor would probably be a water pump.

well for the radio code look in your oem manual if u have it or if worst comes to worst get the serial number from that radio and call your nearest honda dealership for it or just buy a aftermarket radio. as for the coolent leak clean EVERYTHING off and look for the leak everywere if not use coolent dye use a black light and some yellow tinted glasses and ull find it

Noo duhh its coming from under the hood.. I went to this jap man who knows honda like the back of his hands. He said it might be a blown head gasket or cracked head.

1. Smoke coming from under the hood is probably a blown head gasket. That'll blow coolant all over the place in your engine bay.
2. Most of the time, you'll find the radio code on a sticker inside your glovebox. if it's not there, contact Honda or your local Honda dealership and they will be able to help you get it.
3. 92-up B/D series transmissions are all hydro. Anything before that is cable, so you wont have to worry about that. Your car is OBD2, so you'll just have to do an OBD1 conversion. You can tell the difference between cable and hydro trannies most distinctively by the position of the tranny mount bolt holes. look them up on google images and youll know what i mean.

92 and 93 integras have a cable transmission.
go rent a coolant pressure testor from autozone and pressureize the coolant system..
then check all the hoses.. if you cant find a leak, or the pressure doesnt drop..
most likely the head gasket

LOL, did you even read my advice?
In my experience, it's more rare for a HG to leak externally. Most of the time it leaks internally and causes exhaust smoke.
Bunch of armchair mechanics in here.

If youre spewing smoke from your exhaust (white smoke) it could mean a head gasket.
Or a cracked sleeve (Like what happened to me).
I mean, [freak] man, doesn't anyone you know have a lift??
Or even a jack and maybe even some jackstands??
Your water cooling system consists of a radiator, radiator hoses, heater core, heater coolant lines, and the coolant lines that go from the back of the motor to the iacv, then to the fitv, then back into the head. Theres also a water passage inside the intake manifold (IIRC) that goes into the head from the intake manifold. I may have [freak]ed up this paragraph (Maybe missed something or whatnot), but give me some slack. I've been building LS1s all [freak]ing day.
And it has not been a good day.

buy a pressure tester and find your leak. as for the radio code, take the serial and product number and your vin, to a honda dealer. also take something to prove you own the car like the registration. they should give it to you for free and if they dont make them anyway lol. dont pay for it cause you shouldnt have to.
I'm 99% sure it's not your radiator at this point.
Figure out where it's dripping on the ground, and trace it back up to the leak. It's probably a hose like everyone else said.

I found out the reason why my car was leaking coolent. Turns out my horn was agaisnt the raditor causing a hole in it... hopfully that's the last of that.
