Default Dart Heads to make B series blocks???

This may be old news to you, but I just got back from Border's Bookstore. I couldn't help but stop and take a look at some of the mags. After opening up one ricer mag I came to what looked like a picture at Sema. The blurb stated that Dart Heads in conjunction with another firm were going to start selling B series blocks with a higher deck height for better r/s ratio, a closed deck with large openings for proper cooling, and beefer cylinder walls. I was a bit blown away as I remember BSing with Shawn Church about certain companies getting in that biz a couple of years back. Anybody else have any more info to offer. Their website makes no mention of anything, but this has me somewhat excited....... all I can say is it is about damn time this started happening.

Actually that price is a little high, The Block will closer to the $2000 price range. I have seen the 1st production block at the Dart facility. The first block is being prepped to be installed into a car @ this time.

For more info call Tom Payn or his sales manager Chris Dunn @ 1 248 362 0283, Tell them Mattj sent you

hey, jerky boy, I rounded down for a 84.5mm short block with an extra .550 deck height... changes the internal "stroke the dollar" ratio into the perfect stroked rod ratio...

...and yes, Tom is who to talk to... then Dave for a taller header...
