Default Thermostat HELP!!!!!

ok i guess i was dropped as a child... alot. lol cuz im trying to install my thermostat houseing and the bolt holes do not line up cuz the tranny is blocking it from rotating fully so the holes line up. is there like a trick or spacer or something? sorry im rebuilding a bare longblock and having to buy a lot of stuff and put it together from ground up. and this is my first rebuild. thank you in advance

is it the correct one lol. its gotta go are you ling up the grounding bolt hole? instead of the 2 foe the actual cap

yeah i took it off my old d16a6 and now im putting it on this d16a6 and its the housing thing that the coolant pipe goes to from the water pump on the back of the motor..... that is the thermostat housing right?

WOW i really was dropped as a child cuz yeah when i put the new thermostat in i guess i put the end on upside down cuz yeah i re did that and it fits. wow sorry im dumb =P
