bumper help
ok, so i'm installing my oem fogs and i ran across a problem. there is supposed to be a shape for me to cut on the back of the bumper but there isn't. i just got a front clip for really cheap because i wanted the lip, so i have two bumpers and they both have slight differences. my question is how do i tell which one, if either, is oem? where are the markings if any? please help me out. thanks

There is a PDF instruction guide to installing OEM foglights to an OEM bumper. I don't have time time to find it for you right now, but that guide will describe what the OEM bumper looks like in the back where you are supposed to be cutting.
Search and you shall find.

i know i have the instructions. what i'm saying is that it says what it is supposed to look like, but neither of the bumpers have what they are saying on the back, like a cutting guide or anything. sorry i don't feel like searching throu 1000 results for oem bumper
There should be small dots, and you need to use a hole saw to make holes where the dots are. After that, I used a jigsaw to cut the plastic to fit the housings...
Sorry, that's the most detail I remember.

it says that there are supposed to be seven corners. i turn the bumper around and i see probebly 25 really tiny dots. i don't know how i'm supposed to know which ones to cut. well anyways, i got a hole cut and i can get it to fit, but the bumper just doesn't seem like the holes line up. did you have to force the brackets or the bumper a little bit to get the holes to line up with the fog brackets or did it just bolt right up?

Use a damp cloth to wipe down the inside of the bumper.
OEM bumpers will say HONDA on them (bottom) and there is also a chart printed in there too if I'm remembering right.
People have posted images of the bumpers cut for foglights before though. Perhaps someone can post a photo so you can tell where to cut approximately.

+1 on cleaning the inside where you are going to cut... you will be able to see the "outline" and "dots" IF you have a OEM bumper...

if you look at page 3 you will see the same layout pictured on your bumper that is shown in the instructions. the dots look more like "+" instead of dots. and they are etched in if i remember correctly when i installed mine.
