Default To those with AEM EMS

Everytime you hook your laptop to the EMS and are ready to tune it do you have to "connect" to the EMS or is it connected once the serial port is plugged in and the key is tunred to the on position?

You have to connect. Shift+F7 is the quick key.

thanks. Quick question. I talked JP earlier when I was trying to get my car cranked. He said to go to the Fuel settings and take out fuel across the board. When I highlight everything and click percentage change...how much do I want to take out? What kinda of percentage and does it have to be a negative % to take away fuel?

If you want to take out let say 10%, you type in percentage window: 90

If you want to add 10%, you type 110.
