k im not an auto idiot ive been in auto shop 4 years and worked on cars for close to 8 years of my life i feel like a complete retard but i can not find my tranny dipstick anywhere for the life of me....ive been under my car ive looked down into it im guessing its been removed can some one direct me to it please

91 accord LX auto tranny

 

from the dist. look down the front face of the trans and it should be about the level of the front subframe; once upon a time the handle was yellow.

 

lol thanks ill go take a look is it closer to the firewall of the battery?

I believe it's close to the front.

I haven't looked at my auto accord in awhile haha.

 

It's really, really far in, like stand infront of the car, look at the transmission and it should be there towards the front, it's just not sticking out as much as the motor oil dip stick.

 

like others have said. look from front of car, look down right behind the radiator, beside the battery, there is a little yellow(the car I was looking at it was only half yellow) hoop right off the top front of the tranny.

 

thanks for all the help guys i found it now wome previous owner painted it black....y i dont know, but im low on tranny fluid so i really appriecate it

 

Y'all helped me out on this one too. Thanks! I got to keep her rollin! I got 243,000 as of 2 years ago when the odometer stopped. I'm thinking she's 300k now. Love her and she runs great. (No a/c here in Louisiana) but hey you can't have everything.
