ok i have a sohc zc in my hatch can u put a vtec head on it like a z6 that may sound newby but i really dont know anything about a zc. ive only seen that done to a6 and a few other motors on zc so any help or info thaxs

shor answer but it helps i guess all i need this the head the z6 headgasket and timing belt and a ecu and of course obd1 the car anything else well water pump and oil pump while im at it i think thats it if im missing anything chim in

 

use the y8 head gasket its a multi layer steel gasket, and yes the z6 timing belt

also oil change filter, water pump ect....

you dont have to run a obd1 ecu you can run the pm6 or whatever and run the vtec on a rpm activated switch
obd1 is nice for tuning though
also make sure ya take out the oil jet in between #2 #3 pistons if you dont vtec wont work
