lokking into rebuilding the head on my jdm d15b, as far as it goes i am only finding **** for the usdm d16y8, are the internal parts of the head interchangabe between the two? cause i read on a thread that the d15b is acctually a 1.6. is that true? anyone know of a build sheet that anyone has started on a d15b? any help is appreciated. trying to get the head doen by december.

 

the y8 and the d15b are different. you could always look into a regrind cam from Deltacam.com takes like a day to do the work, plus shipping time, cost about 120 bucks.

springs and such should be the same for the a6,b7,b1 ect...

 

It has the same casting as a D16Z6 head so it can use parts from it on the top end.

As for the bottom end it uses the same rods in a Z6 as well. The mains are reg d15 sized I think.
