Default Loud noise

Ok have a confusing situation; over the past few months my 05 rsx-s started to make a loud rubbing noise when I made a left hand turn (Coming from right shock/spring area) Since I put Tien s-tech springs on I thought maybe the tires were rubbing against something. However this is not the case, my next idea was it might be the spring silencers being put on incorrectly, put new ones on and still hear the loud rubbing noise. Finally decided to take off the entire assembly and what I saw was all the grease from the ball bearings on the top of the strut has spilled all over the outside housing and was not on the inside. There was dirt etc. in with the ball bearings...no idea what could of caused this, did not hit any bumps super hard that I can recall. Dealership of course said the warranty is nullified because of aftermarket springs. Sorry for being long but any idea's? im confused.

Default Re: Loud noise (05rsxS)

who did the springs for you ? if someone else did, it was probably because the ball bearings fell out and dirt got on them. does it sound like sand grinding when u turn ur wheel ? dont worry though , i believe it can be replace for like 20 bucks or something . no worries
