Default Tar on my car

I passed through a construction site and when I got home I noticed I had tar all over my car. What I wanted to know was how do I take it off?

Oil can get tar off easily. I once used cooking oil to get tar off my sneakers and it worked.

Whether or not a certain type of oil will damage the car's body or not is another question that I don't know the answer to.

I'm not a fan of the Turtle Wax stuff ^...too watered down for my liking.

This is a bit more expensive, but It sticks better without just dripping off. Just spray wait a few minutes, and wipe...hard. Then repeat, or use a clay bar to get off some of the tougher stuff.

I use a combination of Bug & Tar and clay bar. Use one then the other, repeat if necessary.
