Innovative Motor Mounts - picture of the oil pan ground clearance
Due to recent happenings I’m looking at swapping my spare B16A into my ’90 Si…
The plan is to use the B16A in OBD0 configuration to include an LSD cable transmission that will be using Innovative Motor Mounts - steel (I like the way they look) or aluminum…
Questions are as follow:
- Does anyone have a picture of the ground clearance of the oil pan / exhaust manifold with a known rocker height (jack point) - too many different ride heights and will use it as a reference?
- What is the major problem using them - fire wall / frame rail?
I don’t care about hood clearance as it will be replaced do to my recent accident.

I've haven't delt with either of them. I'm thinking about a front clip to pull mounts from and weld them in the correct spots...
What I'm trying to figure out is how low the engine sits in the car when using the Innovative Motor Mounts.

Dude, I'll get my knees and elbows dirty to take some pictures for you tomorrow. I have Innovative Kit with B18C and ITR hydro tranny in a CRX. It doesn't get any bigger, lower and crampier than that. What angle(s) do you want to see?
We have a couple good tuners here in town.
What do you need done and what do you have? If you don't want to post here you can IM me and I'll work on them for you...
They try to stay out of the lime light - good jobs and school.
Thank you for the bump!

I know someone is either going to get dirty or has already gotten dirty. ;-)
What I'm looking for is:
- ground to header / oil pan
- left / right side - see above
- intake to fire wall
I realy care much about the top side, but if you could get some straight down shots.
Some guy who works on campus brake checked me so I need to replace the front end of the '90.
