Default polishing aluminum intakes and compressor covers?

Any idea what would be a quick way to polish aluminum intake manifolds and compressor covers, what would be better, vibratory trays or tumblers. Planning on making one myself just don't know which, anyone got any diagrams, plans? and what media would be needed?tnx...

you need to smooth out the cover first in order to polish it.....gunna take a lot of sanding
Start with like 80 or so then keep going up, 200, 400, 600, 1000, 2000. Then a compound which is meant to remove 1000 grit or higher scratches, then finish it off with some mothers mag and aluminum polish. Should be nice and shiny
