I was serching around on Craigslist and i found a 1992 Honda Accord with around 230,000 miles on it and since its a honda itll run longer (i know that for a fact)
all it needs is an exhaust to pass inspection.
the car only costs 300 dollars so i was wondering should i go for it and hope is works or should i wait til i find a newr one?
The car is a stick so it wont have all the problems an auto would.
the link to the page where i found it is http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/840657571.html
so take a look and tell me what i should do.:D

What are you trying to do?
Have a project car or a DD? I wouldn't have that as a main car really.
1) no pics of the front
2) rust bubbles on both rear quarters
3) rear bumper is f'd
4) no other interior shots
5) no motor shots

Most likely all the bushings on the suspension are shot.....its gonna need a complete tune-up and a few things here and there.....trust me that bill will rack up to 1g!
i bought my 91 accord for 1300 with 104xxx miles on it for a daily driver when i piad for it it was spiting blue smoke from the tail pipe and needed(still needs) brakes but after i took care of the blue smoke issue i use it as my DD go for it if you do most of the labor ur self it wont be 1000

The car (if i decide to buy it) will be a DD until i get another car and it will be a Project.
so i think its a good deal and im gonna talk to the guy who owns it soon

Flash $150 in cash and take it home. That's not a bad deal if the nose is in tact. If it will get you from point a-b it will be a great commuter car. Just do all the maintenance it needs and drive it. Don't put any more money into it.
i'd take it. for 300 thats a steal. expect to do some type of engine work though sooner than you may want. hondas are great. especially the ones made in japan. it does have high miles but @ 300. take it. its also a stick. so consider your commute and traffic. also, if your looking for a crappy looking car that goes fast, don't expect it in an 92 accord without 5k+ invested. just stick with what needs to be replaced for now and build as you go. i have been at my car since 01, but it has been sidelined for about 2 years due to other things that take priority. i will never sell her though.
