best place to assemble my motor

Default best place to assemble my motor

I have a built b18c5 that was in my R that I want some more work done too it. porting the head a little more and port matching my intake, tb, header. and the other little things. possibly engine dynoing it. Who could I trust to have this done. and what are the best ways to ship it.? thanks

To the OP, for head work, I would contact 'Combustion Contraption' here on H-T. If you go to his website, he is having a killer deal for this month only on his already really low priced headwork

Portflow, RLZ, Endyn, DNR, and Comptech are all very good Honda head porters as well.

As far as shipping it, i dunno. I've never shipped a head.

Go to walmart and buy a $5-7 rubbermaid container, fill it stiff wrapping.

I make sure to label my packages "very fragile" and "This side Up" and always purchase insurance and direct signature for delivery, so far no problems

Thats how I have shipped numerous items and never had a problem. A rubbermaid container breaking? Never the less, what do you recommend Mr. head porter?

You guys have been lucky then I guess.I can even remember one came from PrecisionH23.It gets mighty cold up here(as you know) in the winter and even colder if it's on a plane and it can crack at those temps.

I make sure to duct tape the bottom of my rubber containers for added support and drill holes in the lid and container then zip tie it shut.
