Default Hondata gaskets - any good?

Are the Hondata gaskets (or heat shields) worth the money?? I have a D16Z6 and I will eventually turbo it but not yet. Would that work up until I turbo or would it be fine for N/A and turbo??? Thanks ahead of time guys.

Heat shields?

I am going to go ahead and assume you are talking about Hondata's intake manifold gasket. Won't make a noticeable amount of HP, if any.

Read up on it.

alot of people dont kno but what contributes to alot of turbo cars running at there best is keeping the motor cool.. its actually proven that such things as the hondata IM gasket, larger radiators, oil cooler and etc. can add a few hp, but more then anything, it keeps things a tad bit cooler

Any time you can keep the engine cooler, it's a good thing. Even if you don't add much power, it will prolong it's life.
