my car jerks like crazy in first gear. my set up is a d16z6 with a y8 manifold. any suggestions on what i should do?

 

My car jerks alot if I let off the gas in first gear or don't give it enough gas when taking off...Manual tran right?

 

my car has this bogging sound at 15k then when im driving the car jerks at that rpm then after it rides fine.

 

Maybe your timings off or your distributors going bad?My sisters car has pretty much the same problem where it hessitates and then after a certain rpm it kicks in....Its been doing that for a while and we're not sure if it is the distributor but her engine blew and I put in another one and it still has the same problem.Were using the same distributor that was on the old engine so we're thinking that may be the problem.Anyway its just a guess but its worth a shot.Does it only hessitate in 1st gear?

 

any check engine lights? kinds sounds like its in limp mode.

my idle bounces at 1500 rpm which makes the whole car jerk when im drving. but after that it drive fine.

Pull the code, fix the problem.
