Default Shaved Moldings.. Want to get moldings back.

Bought a car with shaved moldings. its a 93 civic si. Whats the easiest way to go about this? i was thinking of just getting new doors and new fenders but how should i go about the quarter panel? i dont want to have to get a new quarter panel thatll be a bish.

depends on what method they used to fill them in. if its just bondo sand it out and if its welded in then idk whats best but i would just leave it

you can always drill the holes back into the metal, or just use a very fine wire wheel brush to eat the bondo or fiberglass out.

When i first bought my hatch (92), the previous owner did the same thing. I sanded all the bonda/filler out of the sides, but my problem is the previous owner sanded to much when he did the bondo that the metal on the doors and 1 side of the quarter panel has sanded through, so i am going to weld a plate on the inside of the quarter panel and I am going to be replacing the doors, then repainting the car and placing the thin side moldings on.

Just get out the sander and go to town, but becarefull on the the edges.

shiiitt that sounds risky. maybe ill just leave em until i plan on painting the car. i do plan on painting the car but i needa get a secondary vehicle first.
