Bought a car with shaved moldings. its a 93 civic si. Whats the easiest way to go about this? i was thinking of just getting new doors and new fenders but how should i go about the quarter panel? i dont want to have to get a new quarter panel thatll be a bish.
When i first bought my hatch (92), the previous owner did the same thing. I sanded all the bonda/filler out of the sides, but my problem is the previous owner sanded to much when he did the bondo that the metal on the doors and 1 side of the quarter panel has sanded through, so i am going to weld a plate on the inside of the quarter panel and I am going to be replacing the doors, then repainting the car and placing the thin side moldings on.
Just get out the sander and go to town, but becarefull on the the edges.
