best big throttle bodies (68-70)
I've been doing a lot of research on 85x89s lately, and I often see people wondering about intake manifold/throttle body setups. From what I've read it's PerformerX + 68-70mm throttle bodies are the "tried and true" way to go. However, I notice lots of people wondering which throttle body to get, where to get it, etc. So this thread is basically a post your throttle body thread.
Please include stuff like brand, size, fitment (any changes necessary), where you got it, price, and service experience from the company (either manufacturer or shop you bought it).

Actually I did and I didnt see anything about TBs on the main page. I figured what he meant, my point was some text along with a working hyperlink is more helpful than simply a website address and no comment.

I do not like my STR 68mm throttle body...It would stick and cause a high idle. I had to add a helper spring to completely shut the throttle blade...
I DO NOT recommend STR for throttle bodies...
I have only heard good things about Professional Products throttle bodies however...

i have a skunk2 68mm and it is JUNK
it sticks open due to the blade having sideways movement while open and gouging into the edge of the bore where the shaft goes through.
i have a 70mm BDL on the way. it is pricey but they are guaranteed not to stick and use a bronze shaft w/ sealed bearings. hopefully i will have good luck w/ it.

I would go with a BDL. avilble in 68,70,72 mm I run these on my customer's car's and have never had a problem and they come with the gasket

i will, it'll be a while. doing it right even if it takes longer.
only thing is.. my tuner's dyno notoriously reads low. but i think he's figured out a correction method for comparison to other dynos.
