I think APC is starting to carry them now aren't they?

No really, it'd be difficult to find and afford one. And they probably have to be rebuilt pretty often....AND you can probably make a more powerful engine that can be daily driven for less...

dont be naieve.
just because its spoon
dosent mean its the greatest product in the world
the spoon motors arent that amazing.

dont waste the money. just build a b18c yourself. it will make more power.

i think your friends have watched the fast and the furious too many times.

What is this going into? SR20DETs would fetch a good price right before Racewars, and we don't have any engines for our Civics! Time for your oil bath!!!!

they have to be rebuilt like every 10,000 miles or something like that, but they sure would pull a premium before racewars.

Spoon currently only sells balanced JDM ITR motors with thin headgaskets.

These are basically stock and need to be rebuilt as often as a stock motor would.

How much are those Motech exhausts? Do they make a high pitched sound or a low deep rumble? Man I need to stop kidding around with this.

Did you just watch fast and furious?

If you get a "Spoon" engine your not going to just crush everyone you race. Get a B18C1 and build it how you want. Like someone else said, there just JDM ITR balanced engines. Heard of "Spoon" pistons? There just JDM ITR pistons that have been balanced by "Spoon".

Thanks, J

but for some reason spoon pistons cost less.

spoon itr pistons $330 w/rings at jdmhondaparts.com
regular OEm honda tr pistons $330 no rings i think it was inlinefour.com

if not, the two should cost about the same.

That's one good thing about Spoon. They have some cheap prices on some of their oem stuff...pistons, trannies.

It's a good thing

I think the quote is: "A couple of Sr20DET's will pull a premium before raceways".

My 3 year old son loves that movie.

Actually, why did they mention SR20DET's when they needed engines in their civics? That is very lame. OH OH OH, maybe it was a super street super duper mystery swap. the civics were FR. Didn't you see the Toysport lugnuts?
