Default burning oil b20 vtec!

right i re-built my entire b20 ta few weeks back.
its got ITR 84mm pistons with new rings and quick wall clean up (followed manual and made sure i got a 60 degree cross hatch on the walls)
new bearings, every seal and part checked.

now my pcv system is set up as follows:

head to can, right hand block port with a barb to can, can to free air.

im 99% sure this is pcv related, ie: crankcase not evacuating enough pressure allowing some blow-by to force its way back into the combustion chamber. also the can is pretty damn small and bolted half way down the engine bay (lower than the rocker cover)

im thinking of routing the pipes back to oem to see if that sorts it, ie: cover to intake tract, then back of block to can, then can to intake manifold with the oem pcv valve inline.??

could do wih some advise on how to get this thing running without burning oil

im running a breather line from valve cover to intake, just like factory wise, burns no oil on mines, and im using a JG edlebrock manifold.

yup rings seated and car tuned.
done 300 miles on it so far, did not see over 4600rpm on the first 20miles until the 30w was dumped for 10-40, changed that at 100 miles with 10-40 semi same redline, changed that last night at 250 miles for better 10-40 semi and let her open up to 7400rpm (does not make power over that due to crappy b16a1 cam shafts)

lots of wot/vac on the engine all the time to get the rings to expand/contract. all clearances were fine to piston/wall etc etc. (was started until the car got warm, checked everything then i went straight out)

i asked a mote to follow me on the way back, he said it gave the odd tiny little puff when i initially put my foot down but after that it was pretty clean, no issues at cruising/in vacuum when off the gas. could be oil coming from the catch can as its being dumped underneath the car via a hose?

or to put it another way i dont see any in the rear view mirror when giving it some revs.
its not like mountains of smoke like the first time it went on the dyno (it was bad when i first got the car, smoke everywhere in the room at WOT)

I run a stock PCV system on my 12:1 LS/VTEC and I go through about a 1/2 quart every 2 weeks. This is pretty normal for a high compression motor.

How much oil are you going through?

virtually none, which leads me to believe its pcv related lol.

going to set it back to stock tonight using the catch can to grab crap out of the system and try it stock. also the pcv gas venting into the engine bay stinks the car out and makes he high/ill feeling lol

84mm, brand new pistons and rings, installed the correct way round.
honed lightly with a tripod and a slow spinning hand drill and lubed with wd40 (as the old ones site suggested 240 stone and with a 60 degree cross hatch)

got it all back to standard, will have to get someone to follow me to see if it still does it (or wait until i can get it on some rollers and watch the exhaust)

you are burning virtually no oil and you wont do a leakdown and you are convinced you have a PVC problem... what is the point of your post?

DO A LEAKDOWN, stop speculating what your problem is (doesnt sound like you even have one). Big deal, you burn "virtually" (but some) oil. Welcome to the world of 99% of Honda B series motors.

I don't think I burn it TBH, I think it gets sucked into my intake. If I am burning it though, it's because I didn't tune my car right away, I drove it easy for 1000 miles. Hindsight is 20/20.
