Default h22 euro r turbo problem

Hey guys, got a problem i have an h22 euro r motor, with raised compression 11:5:1, (was gonna go all motor) and i decided to turbo it, got a gt3076r from precision, precision intercooler, tial 50mm bov, dual 44mm tial wastegates, custom mini ram manifold. I have a heat problem in boost, i just got the intercooler pipes heat coated, wrapped the downpipe and dump tubes... trying to open up the bumper to get more air to the radiator... any other suggestions? it is also watercooled.. yeah im lost here

Sounds like detonation is your problem, but then again, it sounds like a bs setup and/or question.

^x2

You may want to loose the 11.5:1 Pistons for a boosted motor. Going to take some really keen tuning and lots of time on a dyno to run boost with that compression.

What do your IAT, EGT & AFRs look like? I would hazard a guess that they are Hot, hotter and lean. Your about to melt your 11.5:1 pistons in a very short time!

What is also water cooled?

Water cooled? 11.5:1 + boost? Dual waste gates?

Pics or ban.

Are you even tuned? You didn't mention anything about that...

the pistons arent 11:5:1 i had the head decked, port polish. i should have specified that before. Right now for the heat problem it seems to be running fine.. but yet again i cannot trust the stock temp gauge. but if u want pics give me ur email. I just wanna make sure my stuff don't blow up on me and if i shouldnt drive it till i get pistons. So please be patient with my ignorance.
