Default HID aligment problem for my RSX

i just purchased a pair for DEPO black housing replica headlights with some HID kits, everything fit perfectly except that when i was driving at night i realized my headlight was illuminating the left side of the road a lot more than the right side. so i head the shop align/adjust my bulbs but it still didnt do anything and he came to a conlusion that it was my left headlight that was reflecting the beams toward the left side of the road.
so i spoke to my friend who has the REAL JDM black housing lights and he said he has the same problem and that his headlights illuminate the left side of the road more than the right and that theres nothing you can do about it.
can someone please tell me this is not true, i just want my headlights to beam the light out evenly because it really looks ugly. please anybody, help me out here id appreciate any response. thank you.

In Japan they drive on left side of the road... which means the light will kickup on the left side instead of the right.

I'm pretty sure the DEPO healights are designed to shine on the right side of the road, they are DOT approved unlike the JDM headlights so they should not be shining to the left.

Well, if they are a replica of the JDM housings, then they will shine off to the left. hence "replica". I don't know about that DOT cert.

really? so all of you guys that have HID's do the samething? if it's supposed to do this than i'm not going to waste anymore money buying the real JDM ones but here are some pictures i took for example:

i really dont like this, its ugly. if anyone knows what i can do to fix this i would appreciate it. the repair guy said theres nothing on his end he can do about it unless he heatguns the glue to take the headlight apart and does some adjustments with the glass behind the bulb inside the housing but he said thats not good because it'll never seal correctly and most o the time it will fog up inside the headlights

JDM headlights = worthless upgrade

...unless you like to illuminate the oncoming drivers.

If you had an EP3, you could get the German HID housings to have correct alignment here, but I am not sure about the RSX/Integra. Where was it available?

okay thanks guys i really appreciate it, im just going to leave it alone than as much as i hate how ugly it illuminates. and rsxer63, im assuming you have the usdm oem ones? because according to eveyone here mines are jdm/replica so they're illuminating the opposite side. but anyways thanks for all the help. man someone needs to invent black housing headlights that illuminate the right side of the road, oh well i guess i'm going to blind oncoming traffic.

yss mine are USDM and they are black housings too.... you can take them apart and reassemble and not have fogging. I have had mine for a couple of years retrofitted with projectors with no problems.

While it's annoying, it's also very unsafe to you and others. And if a cop wanted to, he could ticket you for it in some states.

I really don't understand the point of 'upgrading' to something that is inferior to that of the stock piece it replaces.

mine came with the JDM headlights with the HID and they are way better than the regular USDM DC5 headlights IMO

Way better, as in aiming at the on-coming cars?

there's a couple of screws on the back of the headlight that u can dial i beleive, they shift the "light beam" either right or left, or up and down...look behind the headlight and try screwing and unscrewing them, i had to do it for my projectors so they'd shine in the right direction...
