Default EF fender swap for my Crx

Hey guys, Jus joined the Ef/Crx forum coming from the DC5 Forums. This is my 3rd second Gen Crx and Im not lettin this one go this time!! haha. Wel I went to the Faq page to see if i could find a heading that would help me on my quest but i dint find one that did. so heres the deal, I got a pair of All ember JDM signals for free off my Brothers Mother in law 4door ef sadan. @ first glance i though theyd swap right out but they dont. Situation, my brother has an HF Crx and needs fenders badly so i was gonna help him out by sellin him mine for dirt cheap and gettin some EF ones then jus put on the corner lights. So If i went a got some EF fenders would i be able to swap them right out? and from ur guyses point of few, would that look tacky? Thanks guys

It's not exactly clear what you want to do?

You need to properly use the chassis designations.

You have an ED9, presumably. And you want to put which type of EF fender on? EF6? EF8? EF9?

There are differences.

People, seriously! GET YOUR CHASSIS CODES STRAIGHT before you provide mis-information!

An EF can be a hatch, a sedan, and a crx!
Neither of the three are interchangeable.

But I guess you're just fanboys swinging the EF term around.

im not sure but u can only use crx fenders. the hatch crx and sedan are non interchangable withe eachother. if ur crx is 88-89 u can put 90-91 fenders on and the bolt right up. u can only move between years in ur vehicle designation. im getting a pair of 90 hatch fenders and they will fit right on my 88

as stated
88-91 crx fenders only
88-91 sedan only
88-91 hatch fenders only
88-91 wagon fenders only

same with corner lights^^^

and an EF is a 88-91 crx ,civic ,sedan or wagon
