Default 07 and 08 differences

Is there any differences between the 07 and the 08 model Si's? Besides the $5K price.

08's don't have keyhole releases on the trunks. Tiny detail, but a difference nonetheless.

Red stitching shift boot.
Ambient light that shines down on shifter at night.
Rims may be darker,but I can't tell.
Better transmission(no 3rd gear issue).
No key hole in trunk or pass. front door.
Shift pattern on shift **** is red.

different rear upper control arms (thought i think the 06-07 were upgraded to the newer ones under warranty if you asked them for it). i've also heard that the spring rates were lowered to match the si sedan, but i haven't heard much about that so i dunno if its true.

are you saying i'm wrong about the 08 si's having the different arms, or about being able to have your 06-07 arms changed to the 08?

I've had an 07 and an 08. What is this ambient light you speak of? Transmission is the same. The back of the seats is a different material.

It's the red LED in the sunroof switch panel that provides a soft red glow right above the shifter.

It's not THAT bright. When I think "ambient" lighting, I think of the lighting behind the rear seat head rests in a BMW 3 series.

There's actually a memo out for 2nd and 3rd gear... I had issues with 2nd and ended up having both gears rebuilt on my '07 Si.
