I've searched this question, and all I found was to loosen the belt, but I did last night w/ the procedure in my Helms manual, and afterwards it still makes the noise, I think it's the tensioner has gone bad. A few days ago I was getting on the highway, and had to give it a little gas because some as****** was charging up my bumper, but anyways...there was a subtle bang..not very loud, followed by a really high pitched squeel, which went away pretty quickly. Ever since I've had this noise. I have a recording here: ds_20030.wma - 0.19MB

Any opinions would be appreciated. This recording was above the left shock tower, on the timing side.
