Hummy noise concern ?? help
Hey guys i recently did my timing belt on my 96 accord including the balancer belt and tensioner after that my car has a lil hummy noise at low rpms when driving. first started at idle thought ive mightve had the belt tight so i adjusted again and now makes it till bout 2k rpms then goes away but then hear it again when slowing down any clue?????? need help
Humming noise while driving. It could be your bearings. If it is that and you are tech saavy. I would park your car in your driveway, remove the wheel and just bring both knuckles to your mechanic and have him install the bearing on the knuckle instead of bringing the whole car. You'll save alot of money and they may only charge you $25 dollars for each side.
Also check to see if the Timing Belt is shredding on the sides. All I can think of now.
