$500 for a new a/c compessor!! Where can I get a rebuilt, or new one for cheaper?
Took my car in to get the a/c done. Compressors bad....they buy only new parts from Honda so they would be charging me $500 for a compressor...I thought rebuilt compressors are like $200 or so? Anyone know where to get a good price on a new unit or on a rebuilt unit?

Check AutoZone or Kragen...or just a local salvage yard. We got a 94 Civic compressor at AutoZone and I think that it was $245.

yeah..it's the compressor that's bad. But to be sure, you got a compressor for ~$245 or so...and not the clutch, right?

Ya I got the compressor for about $250..it comes without clutch, well mine did. AutoZone didn't want a core back but someplaces probabally do I am assuming.
