I am looking for a BOV that is loud as **** but also has good performance and lets out enough boost right now I am running 20 psi.

 

turbo XS is the loudest i have hear there new designed one.. let me know if you need one i can hook you up a good pric.

I like the apex bov..... nice and tight; just how I like 'em.

yeah, but you have to love that greddy type s sound.

 

I think its the Greddy Type R BOV that makes the "tsh tsh tsh tsh" And under extreme boost, makes a Horrific "PSHHH", sounds very mean. --small story time--I was driving by chicks on SMS campus...build up a ton of boost, let it off right in there ears, they screamed to high hell!--Plus it hold a ton of boost. You know thats a good one. It's definetly one of the best. The other Greddy, I think it's the type S, sounds like a wounded blue bird or something. (Which is what I have) hehehe, I don't care for that sound at all. I prefer the ones that hold a ton of boost and keeps popping like the Type R.

of an TURBO nsx.i think it has GREDDY type R bov...sounds MINT!

 

i gotta admit.....the turbo xs bov is pretty loud

i heard the xs bov today, it sounds really cool..better than anything else that ive heard.

 

BLITZ BLow off valve (the older style) has got to be one of the loudest...my friend has it on his car and its like a gush of air

What about the HKS SSBV. Does anyone have any opinion on those? Or is anyone using it? Not that concerned with sound, I'm more concerned with function.

I've got a HKS SSQV bov. It's loud. I've got a separate vaccum outlet hooked to it and it makes a very loud wolf whistle noise. Kind of irritating actually.

I want the LOUDEST one but at the same time i don't want to be bootin like a mad man.

 

Most of you sound like the "loudness" of the BOV is more important then the reliabilty and the FUNCTION of the valve...

It is VERY important that it flows enough CFM to keep your turbo spooled....I would base my choice after that fact, rather then "how it sounds"

Oh, i've got an MP3 of an HKS SS @ 10psi if anybody wants to hear it. Email me so I can reply with the attachment. I recorded it with a mic out of my window in my house while I drove by.

I wonder if you made a horn like the turboxs bov on a greddy type s/r how it would sound hehe...someone should try it.

 

functionality over everything else!! Get yourself a hks or tial bov.

 

HKS SSQ is the **** in my opinion. Sounds soo crisp and clean. Greddy type s sound like a toy imo
