Code 43, testing procedure?
My buddy just picked up a 1990 Integra with a B18B1(1994 Integra engine) swapped in. The engine has B20 fuel injectors and a B20 fuel rail.
The check engine light has been turning on intermittently, the car idles somewhat rough and the idle fluctuates about 2-300 RPM. We ran the codes and code 43 seems to be the only issue.
Could the B20 fuel injectors be the problem (Are they compatable with the '94 ECU?)?
What specific parts are listed under "code 43" fuel supply?
The car doesn't surge while accelerating, so i don't think the fuel filter is plugged.
I'm primarily wondering what test procedures the factory service manual reccomends for diagnosing a code 43.
If anyone knows of a downloadable FSM, it would be great if you could put the link in this thread.
