is the price right?
I am intending to buy a 1994 Honda Del Sol, dealer is asking for $4000
it's 5-speed, VTEC engine
145,000 miles
there is a little dent on the door and some scratches..
we took it for a test drive, it drives OK but I dont know if something breaks down later
should i go for it?

Go find some speed bumps while test driving and hit them kind of hard listening to the suspension......any clank and walk away.
Drive the car up to redline and listen, any odd sounds or roughness and walk away.
Look at the oil in the engine (dipstick) if the oil is low (it probably burns oil) if the oil is dirty (poor maintenance) if the oil has any metal specks in it (WALK AWAY).
Do not let them pressure you into buying. Take your time and look everything over, test everything.
Listen to the car while driving in gear and also coasting out of gear......clutch, check that buy going 25mph and put the car in 5th, floor it. If the RPM's rise and your speed doesn't the clutch is bad.
Don't ever rush purchasing a car.....take your time and look everything over.

if it's from a honda dealership isn't it precertified and have warranties... That's what mine was... if it's not... then well good luck.. take it to a garage to get looked at?
