Steering wheel shakes under accelleration
Hello everyone, my steering wheel shakes while under accelleration. Does anyone know what can cause this? I've already tried searching. Thanks in advance for your help.
Possible causes:
1. Check your lug nuts.
2. Balance the tires.
3. Alignment.
4. Bent wheels.
5. Bald spots on tires.
6. Bad shocks/struts.
.....and many more.....

my first guess.
my first guess.
It doesn't click, but I got new axles anyways. The tires are almost new so I'm not suspecting tire balance. It very well could be mount bushings, cause I noticed one of them coming out of the mount. I'll check everything you guys told me about as I go down the list. Could it be hub bearings? Let me know if anyone else has any ideas.
Thanks for everyone's input. I got lucky and all I had to do was change out the axles I had already bought. So I wound up not wasting money.
