94 dc2 LS/Vtec CEL Question
like the title says 94 ls vtec dc2....
problem is that i was on the freeway going about 75-80 in 5th gear. i saw some EK that was pullin up on my quick so i dumped it into 4th and rpms hit about 5500, threw me into vtec then all of a sudden i see a CEL.
the car didnt make any weird noises, no difference in the way it drove, nothing. but the light stayed solid until i turned the car off. then turned it back on and the CEL didnt come back on.
the ecu is a virgin p28. maybe thats the problem

yea thats kinda my problem...it threw a light when vtec engaged but then turned off once restarted the car.
i was warned about using a non chipped p28, since its for SOHC vtec. and the redline and idle is different.
