All Motor / Naturally Aspirated No power adders

Default this doesnt sound right. 165whp tuned, on high compression.. mustang dyno

old set up = itr block/ gsr head/ itr cams/ b16 tranny/ stock IM- no secondary/headers/injectors/clutch
1/4 mile 13.5 at 106ish???

new setup= everything the same but ctr pistons 450's dsm on e85
1/4 mile 14.0 best time at like 96ish???

something wrong here huh... i never got to dyno with old setup so i couldnt tell ya... what are your opinions?

Lose the PCT pistons and the DSM injectors. Tune your car on a dyno.

was on a dyno.. and compression reads 270 across..

was tuned here http://www.fullblownmotorsports.net

ctr pistons onto itr rods... shave the wrist pins and the rods i believe i got the rods and pistons combo from a buddy who had it in a itr he went turbo..

why? the pct and dsm injector are not good or? because i made 198whp and 141wtq with those parts lol

Well, it's one or the other. It makes me nervous when people run this setup, notching rods always makes me cringe. Whatever, it's your motor.

Mustang dynos read low. 165 isn't horrible, that would be 185 at Church's.

What is this tuned on?

my point... i bet it was just the tuner.. im thinking i can get 200whp with someone else with bolt ons. consumate tuning in minnesota has done some good work with all motors. i

have the injectors flowed if you have concerns about them. http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/ this is the best place in the country that i know of on a price to performance basis. once you rule out the injectors nothing else is left. you either have something out of time or the tune is really screwed up. plugged cats and broken valve springs might be worth checking for while your at it. very rare but i've seen both happen.

about that e85. you do realize it has far less combustion power than gas, on the plus side it has more octane. if you have something like a 11:1 motor e85 is just retarded since it has less thermal power than petrol gasoline.
