you'll most likely have to get it chipped or a chipped p28 if you want to start changing things like that, or the simple v-afc hack (not the best option but its there).

apexi vtec-air/fuel controller. Its sort of a mini-tuner, just not as near as good getting a chipped ecu. But if you just want to change vtec engagement you can do it with this or buddy club vcon vtec controller too, its up to you.

yeah i jus didn't want to spend the money.. kinda broke. and i don't want to change when the v-tec engages,i need the rev. limiter set higher. 6200 is no where near what i want.

well this is a built h22a and the guy had it at 11,000 and it pulled fine all the way. but i didn't get his hondata ecu with the car so i'm stuck with a 6200 rev limiter. i don't have the money right now to buy an ecu so i was jus wondering if its possible to bypass the rev limiter anyway? if not then i'll have to wait. but i can't wait to see what she has...

The engine might be built, but you're still constrained by the transmission. From what i recall reading H22 trannys are kinda weak.

the trannys are def not weak.
your cams will stop making power at 6800 anyway.

VAFC is not a mini tuner. It is, however, trash.

I can set you up with a shop tune/ basemap at a very good price. lmk. I can chip yours and/or sell you a chipped ecu for cheap.

Indeed. VAFC is a cheap route to go and although better than nothing, it's out dated. Chrome gets my vote.

if you have a built h22 swap i wouldnt go cheap in any way i would get a chipped p28 and run some kind of engine managment on it... if your running that computer the motor must not be tuned??? if its actually a built motor dont go cheap get it done right. chipped ecu with some kind of tuning!!!

Chrome is a shiny metal, the tuning software is Crome.
