Coming out in very friendly ITR sizes. Pricing looks to be GREAT too. In particular the 205/50/15 & most importantly 215/45/16 sizes. We finally get another option beside Azenis. Let's hope some of the other brands follow with some more ITR friendly sizing of their own.

More choices = good news.

Pricing is a lot more than the Azenis or Star Spec, though. Although not as much as the RE-01R or R1R (without rebate).

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 195/55-15 $73.50/tire after rebate at the Tire Rack ($86/tire without rebate)
Falken Azenis RT-615 205/50-15 $79/tire at Vulcan
Kumho Ecsta XS 205/50-15 $97/tire at the Tire Rack
Toyo R1R 205/50-15 $91/tire after rebate ($116/tire without rebate) 195/55-15 $83/tire after rebate ($108/tire before rebate) at Tire Deals 4 Less
Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R 195/50-15 $119/tire at the Tire Rack

I do like those on my stock rims as a DD too. But you know we are talking about a good AutoX and maybe even a decent HPDE tire here.

MXs are a great tire, 6 years of DD and track events and never had a tire related issue... Well snow
It's gonna be hard for any new tire to win me over
I'd stick it out with MXs and wait for some feedback before buying anything so new.
