i just replaced both of my cv shalfts because they went bad and i am still hearing a clunking sound on the driver side when i turn...i have a couple of bad ball joints and was wondering if they could be making the sound...i was also told that it could be the steering rack has gone bad
bad ball joints doint always make that horribly annoying squeaking sound. it is very likely that your ball joints are the culprits. i'd replace those as soon as you can, they can leave you stranded on the side of the road with your car dragging on the ground if you let them go long enough.
