Default ls/v should i boost

b18a1 blcok
Eagle rods and weisco pistons
Block guarded
ARP head studs.
Crankshaft has been shaved and balanced.
Flywheel has been shaved.
Compression ratio is at 12.5 to 1
b16 head
Type R intake manifold
Type R springs, retainers and valves.
Type R Camshaft
Adjustable cam gears
w/b16 tranny
just finish this setup for about 6k miles and miss my turbo would this be a good setup to add boost like 6 psi. cause the compression is kind of high.

Compression is a little on the high side. I'd throw some low comp pistons in there and boost 10psi.

TonytheTiger on here is boosting with 11.5:1 pistons a believe... but this was a while back. ITBs boosted sleeper.

that means i have to rip my motor apart again to boost. im probably jsut gonna wait if my high compression isn't safe to boost.

yeah i know 3-4 isn't worth it i guess i can sell it and then do some porting and vavle jobs. hopefully that will get me into the 12's anybody know what i can do to be in the 12's that wont cost so much cause i wont get much form my turbo kit.

my car is a 1990 DA full interior. dont want to take my interior out and put it back in. let me know what you guys think.

sell your motor and get a B20b, boost the B20b and it will be faster then the built motor you sold.

yes you can boost on that high of compression, but you would need a rock solid tune, im talking 100% perfect tune, i heard of the local tuner around hear was running something ridiculous like 14:1 on boost, but something happened, like he blew a vacuum hose or something and he leaned out real quick and kaboom, but it had nothing to do with the engine, turbo or tune set up he had it was just something stupid that went wrong, don't remember specifics
