Default spring load ingition

i thought i had a faulty key cylinder, so i bought a new one to discover that it too was acting up. so i took the new one out and it seems to me that the spring loaded bracket that pushes the key back to the on position after starting, might be gettin a little weak. so now that brings me to my question

what the heck is that part called and how do i change it out or fix it?
